About Guest Speakers: Photography is a reflection of how we think, what we see, and most importantly who we are. In the book Visual Poetry I wanted to share the experience our students at Brooks Institute have. At Brooks we invite guest speakers to visit the classrooms, provide portfolio reviews, give presentations and share their work. As you can imagine, their contributions are immense.
Throughout the book you'll find a wide range of guest speakers including legends like: Steve McCurry, Pete Turner, Douglas Kirkland, John Sexton, Keith Carter, Rodney Smith, Chris Rainer, Joyce Tenneson, Chase Jarvis, Elizabeth Messina, Marc Riboud. Their contributions bring wisdom, insight, and inspiration.
